Tamper Base Knock
All tamper bases in the KNOCK series feature a flat surface for tamping the espresso and are precision-manufactured from solid stainless steel on CNC lathes.
Why the name “Knock”?
After the initial tamping of the espresso, baristas often lightly tap the side of the filter basket (to “knock”). This ensures that any espresso grounds clinging to the inner rim fall back into the basket. Then, a second tamp is performed. To avoid using the stainless steel base itself—which could damage the softer material of the filter basket—or even the wooden handle, we integrated a silicone ring into the base specifically for knocking. The Base KNOCK is compatible with the following handles: TECHNIK / EXKLUSIV / POP / ELEGANCE / CLASSIC.
Please ensure the included rubber washer remains in place when using the TECHNIK, POP, and CLASSIC handles!
