For over 20 years, we have been known and valued as a manufacturer of specialized espresso & coffee tools such as tampers, knock boxes, brew drawers, tamping stations, barista and latte art tools, and milk pitchers for cafés, bars, restaurants, and hotels both domestically and internationally.
As a Nuremberg-based company, we have been designing and producing high-quality, original espresso and coffee accessories since 1996 for coffee specialty retailers, coffee shops, and roasteries, as well as for private owners of portafilter machines. Constant innovation and development, highest manufacturing quality, and outstanding customer service are always our top priorities.
We offer accessories for the preparation of espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiato, including stainless steel pitchers in various sizes and designs for frothing milk, latte art items, as well as cleaning products such as descalers and milk froth cleaners, along with specialized brushes for cleaning your espresso machine and coffee grinder.
A Coincidence as a Turning Point
A rather coincidental event brought a turning point: a friend asked Jörg Rexroth to build him a knock box for his espresso machine.
The order was carried out successfully and with the usual stylish perfection, and word quickly spread about this service, even among experts. Jörg soon realized that there was a previously almost unexplored market for high-quality, elegant coffee and espresso accessories as well as designer-level products, which he began to specialize in from then on.
Design & Market Introduction
He developed an attractive product range that, in addition to his now classic knock boxes, also included other high-quality products such as brew drawers, espresso tampers, tamping stations, and all sorts of barista utensils, which were almost always designed and conceived by him.
With sensitivity and care, he slowly but steadily integrated his program into the emerging market.
Quality & Innovation Since 1996
Because of his growing success, he founded [JoeFrex]® in 1996, with a dynamic team of qualified employees, and his company has since become a household name in the world of espresso fans, baristas, and specialist retailers, guaranteeing the highest quality, reliability, and design originality.
His top priorities are customer satisfaction, efficient service, and constant innovation. Customers from all over the world appreciate his personal commitment to new ideas and concepts, his idealism and his passion, which have only increased since his early days in the hobby cellar.
Like so many ideas, JoeFrex started small, almost playfully. First of all, in a completely different area. Technical curiosity, inventiveness, and great technical talent led the later company founder Jörg F. Rexroth to recreate or convert furnishings and decorative objects in his hobby cellar.
In doing so, he constantly developed new, original design ideas and creations that were well received by family and friends and led him to set up a suitable workshop in 1990. He experimented with unusual materials, shapes, and structures and created original objects, furniture, and everyday items - unique pieces of astonishing individuality that also captivated with their perfect craftsmanship and functional imagination.
Parallel to this activity, he also completed a degree in industrial engineering, but remained with heart and soul a practitioner, an inventor, and a creator.
