This robust silicone tamping pad is extra compact and designed to fit as a corner mat in front of the worktop or upside down in front of the grinder or machine. The silicone mat is food-safe, 3 mm thick and protects the work surface from unwanted damage caused by the portafilter. The outer edge is 6 mm thick so that the ground coffee does not slip off the mat and the work surface stays clean. There is a round recess in one corner for your tamper.
