Cofftea:
The Cofftea is a special drink because it wonderfully combines the world of coffee and tea in one. The taste of the drink is similar to Ayurvedic tea and is therefore rather spicy. The cofftea is a “coffee tea” because it contains 30 percent green coffee beans. These do not taste typically like coffee because the coffee beans have not yet been roasted. The drink is therefore a completely new creation that is based on tea, but also contains the original form of coffee and caffeine. So if you want a morning caffeine kick, this is a natural and very healthy alternative. Whether in your to-go cup, on the way to work or relaxing on the couch on Sunday, the cofftea is always a delicious and healthy choice.
Fun fact about green coffee:
The green coffee it contains is one of the most popular natural weight loss products on the market. It is taken both as an extract and as a tea. Chlorogenic acid, which is contained in a high percentage of green coffee beans, is said to be responsible for this. Since this chlorogenic acid is reduced through the roasting process, green coffee beans are particularly popular for losing weight.
Ingredients/Effect:
Green coffee beans (30g): Green coffee is the name for unroasted coffee beans. These contain caffeine, but not in the same amount as roasted coffee beans. Green coffee also contains a high proportion of chlorogenic acid, which is said to help with weight loss and could counteract diabetes.
Cinnamon (5g): Cinnamon is traditionally used to combat loss of appetite but can also help with various gastrointestinal problems.
Stinging nettle (15g): “If the nettle had no thorns, it would have been eradicated long ago, its virtues are so diverse” - Johann Künzle.
By this, Johann Künzle means that if the nettle did not burn people, people would have used it so often because it is so useful that it would be extinct. In keeping with this, we will tell you a few of the benefits of nettles. The nettle stimulates the metabolism and can therefore be used well in spring to detoxify the body. It also has a blood-forming and blood-purifying effect, but can also be used for rheumatism and gout as it flushes out toxins from the body.
Licorice(10g): The sweet root of this plant can help with respiratory diseases as it has an anti-inflammatory effect and liquefies mucus in the mouth, throat and lungs.
Orange peels (5g):
Basil (10g): "The path to health leads through the kitchen and not through the pharmacy" Pastor Sebastian Kneipp
In keeping with this quote, basil is a must-have in a healthy kitchen. Basil has a positive effect on the whole body and has a tonic and anti-inflammatory effect. It can relieve nervous migraines.
Cardamom (5g): Cardamom is said to have an antispasmodic effect and is described in Ayurvedic health science as a flatulent and bile stimulant.
black pepper (5g): Pepper is said to enhance the effects of other medicinal herbs, which is why it is often taken in combination with other herbs etc. This is called a “synergist” and this is because it makes the intestinal walls more permeable to other active ingredients. But it also has an antibacterial and immune-boosting effect.
